business strategy logomtm has established itself as a vertically integrated diagnostics company, validated by the introduction of proprietary biomarker-based diagnostics to the market in early 2007. The cell-based CINtec® products (CINtec® Histology Assay and CINtec® Cytology Assay) are directly commercialized by mtm's marketing & sales team and through selected distributors.



In the future, mtm intends to build its product portfolio further by developing and clinically validating cancer diagnostics through in-licensing of key molecular markers and through its own integrated discovery and development platform. mtm applies its in-house expertise in molecular pathology and clinical medicine to identify and validate molecular markers, with high commercial potential, in human tissue provided by clinical partners. The Company gains rapid assessment of its products' clinical efficacy in international clinical trials.


The development and acquisition of intellectual property is critical to the successful execution of the Company's goals. mtm has rapidly developed a strong patent portfolio made up of exclusive rights relating to the early detection, diagnosis and therapy of carcinomas based upon predominant molecular markers. To date, mtm has rights to 9 US, 7 German, 11 Families comprising 66 Patent applications.
